  1. Check the contents of the consignment when you open the transport crate. Ensure that all components of the container roof are in the crate.
  2. Do not set up the container roof in high winds, on wetland or unstable ground.
  3. Check local regulations and plan the location of the canopy so that the required distance from electrical cables, gas pipes, water pipes etc. is maintained.
  4. If the canopy is based on shipping containers, these should be level, positioned according to instructions, i.e. parallel, and if they are not fixed to the ground, they should be loaded according to the regulations for the area in which the canopy is to be erected.
  5. Work in accordance with health and safety requirements.
  6. Ensure that you have access to the containers from all sides during erection, so that you can manoeuvre with a forklift, telescopic loader, hoist etc.
  7. All operations should be carried out by people with the appropriate professional qualifications.
  8. Check the weather forecast.
  9. Keep the work area clean.
  10. Be careful not to cut your fingers with clamps and tubes during installation. Assemble with protective gloves, work boots, etc.
  11. Be aware of personal safety during assembly and use.
  12. Do not use sharp tools in contact with the tarpaulin.
  13. If you are installing the curtain in winter, the curtain itself must be stored in a room with a minimum temperature of + 10 C or higher 2 days before installation and unfolded at this temperature. Otherwise, kinks or cracks may appear in the curtain.
  14. The canopy must only be assembled from the supplied components. It is not permitted to modify, alter etc. the elements of the container roof. The elements of the container roof must not be modified, altered etc. Any changes to the components, substitutions of components will void the guarantee.

EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION

  1. Measuring tape
  2. Chalk (marker)
  3. Level
  4. Screw spanners.
  5. Stepladder
  6. Welder (in the welded version for the container)
  7. Hammer
  8. Knife.

INSTALLATION PROCESS

  1. The containers on which the canopy is spread should be fixed to the ground!!! If this is not possible, load the containers so that a gust of wind does not cause them to shift, as this will damage the tent structure and the tent itself.

A-INSTALLATION OF GROUNDS

Please refer to the diagram (Figure 1) to place the base plates. UNIT: mm

rys1.webp Figure 1

1 Measurement, is given from the centre to the centre of the tubes. Refer to the diagram above and confirm the location of the base plates.

2. all base plates require a welder and a qualified welder to join the base plates to the containers.

B - FRAME INSTALLATION

  1. As shown in Figure 2, locate the top bent tube (part code 1), the centre bent tube (part code2) and the side wall bent tubes (part code3). Use an M8x70 (part code 9) to join them together to form one group of bends. Note the direction of the screw. DO NOT install the bolts on top of the truss where the material will rest, as you will damage the material.
  2. Place the assembled arch into one base plate and push the other end of the arch into the opposite base plate.
  3. Completing the assembly of the first two arches, connect the connection purlins to them using M10x80 (part code 10). There are 5 pieces of connection purlins (part code 4) between the two arches. Then install the third arch in the base plate and screw the purlins together. Finally, install the support tube (part code 5) using M8x70 (part code 9) and clip (part code 6). Secure the screw joints and the places where the arch components enter one another with "grey assembling tape" (silver tape, repair tape).

Installation of the roof covering

Important: DO NOT install the canopy in high wind conditions.

  1. First lay the tarpaulin (part code 8) on the roof of one of the containers and secure it to the container. Lay the tarpaulin EQUALLY, CAREFULLY and SLOWLY on the frame. Check the fabric so that it is evenly distributed.

Weld angle mounting sockets (part code 14) onto each container and use ropes (part code 11) to tie the tarpaulin to the frame tubes at the front and rear. Finally, tie the roof fabric to the angle mounting sockets.

2 Insert the lower tension tube of the tarpaulin (part code 7) into the pocket in the tarpaulin. Then cut the tarpaulin fabric over the tube to the width of the conveyor belts in the tension tube pocket at the conveyor belt tensioners (part code 14A). Then drape the conveyor belt around the tension tube of the tarpaulin as shown in figure 3. Evenly tension the conveyor belts so that the tarpaulin sits evenly on the roof structure. Finally, install a plug fi 32 (part code 12) on the two

ATTENTION: DO NOT LEAVE THE ROOF COVERING unattached in any circumstance until the final assembly and tightening of the structure has been completed.

The process is fairly easy. But some tightening adjustments will be necessary to achieve a flat, taut roof surface. Please inspect the roof covering at least once a month.

Operation guide.

  1. When using, make sure there is adequate ventilation for fumes and other hazardous fumes.
  2. Be aware of energy and heat sources. Do not keep heat sources near the tarpaulin. Do not expose to open flames.
  3. Heating appliances and other heat sources, must be min. 2 m from the canopy.
  4. Remove the cover during a hurricane.
  5. Check the attachment of containers to the ground. Containers on which the canopy is spread should be fixed to the ground. If this is not possible, weigh down the containers so that a gust of wind does not cause them to shift, as this will damage the structure of the tent and the marquee. Check the anchoring of the containers at least once a month and after every strong wind > 50 km/h.
  6. It is necessary to stretch the roof fabric with the transport straps provided, tight enough to avoid "hammocks" on the roof. During use, the fabric should be re-tensioned once or twice after several months of use. This is especially important when installing the canopy in cold weather (autumn and winter), as the fabric is then stiff. When we have sunshine and warm weather, it lays better on the structure and the fabric can become "loose", in which case the fabric should be re-tensioned.
  7. It isthe owner's responsibility to remove the snow immediately if it does not slide off on its own.
  8. Carrying straps and other rubber parts are subject to wear and tear. Their condition should be checked once a month and replaced as necessary.
  9. To clean the tarpaulin of the container canopy, a gentle solution of water with washing liquid that does not damage the PVC is recommended. Karcher-type washing equipment can be used at low pressure and from a safe distance.
  10. If dismantling, use a packing list. Do not pack a wet canopy.
