Two functional cattle sheds from 10 × 18 m container shelters

In Germany, two tent cattle sheds were constructed using GSC3320 and GSC3340 container shelters on concrete blocks. This arrangement made it possible to quickly create a covered livestock area without traditional foundations, with the possibility of comfortably arranging the animal and farm service areas.

The structures were additionally equipped with fullgable walls, acting as the rear walls of the building, which improved protection against wind and precipitation.

It is particularly noteworthy that the client designed and constructed the concrete foundation blocks on which the canopies were set. This solution made it possible to perfectly adapt the structure to the conditions on the farm and prepare a stable base for year-round use. The concrete blocks act as a stable base as well as retaining walls, raising the usable area and limiting contact with damp ground, which makes it easier to keep clean. The entire structure was installed by the client themselves, including the preparation of the foundation and installation of the structure.
