Another sale of our tent halls to Sweden. Our customer, a farmer, erected our 12.2×21.3 m tent hall, 6.4 m high, on concrete blocks. This solution allows for the storage of various bulk materials and the free operation of agricultural machinery. The concrete retaining wall allows the loader to drive up to the wall without fear of damaging the tent tarpaulin. The concrete block wall is a great foundation for our tented warehouse halls. It provides good anchorage to the ground and is easy to level.
The customer assembled the tented warehouse hall himself. Thanks to detailed assembly instructions, videos ">on YouTube and remote support via WhatsApp, you are able to assemble the storage marquee yourself. For self-assembly you need a couple of people 2-6, a skip hoist or telescopic loader, basic spanners, tape measure, spirit level, drill, screwdriver. The most important thing is to mark out the tent walls evenly, then assemble the arches. The assembly consists of joining the finished elements and screwing them together. When the structure is erected, the tarpaulin must be stretched and tied to the tent hall structure. All materials (bolts, ropes, tensioning straps, ground anchors) needed for assembly are supplied with the tent. The entire assembly takes between 2 and 6 days.
The storage hall has many uses it can be used as a hay/straw storage, a garage for tractors, combines, grain or fertiliser storage. It also has industrial applications as a warehouse, production hall.
In areas where there is snowfall, customers install heating rods on the upper purlins of the tent hall. The heating bars are switched on when snowfall is predicted. The rods linearly heat the tarpaulin and cause the snow to melt. The melting snow slides down the sides of the storage tent. Remember that the sides of the tent must be kept free of snow, as excess wind is released through the loose parts of the tarpaulin on the sides.
