The design and strength of the tented warehouse hall.

The **GS334017** storage tent has been designed for maximum strength and stability. Its construction is based on a galvanised steel truss frame, which is resistant to corrosion and weathering. The 48mm diameter, 1.5mm wall-thick steel tubes that make up the arches and purlins form a stable framework on which the entire structure rests. Thanks to the double truss, this tent features increased resistance to wind and snow loads.

The maximum wind load the construction can withstand is 80 km/h, making the tent resistant to strong winds. An additional advantage is that the tent can withstand a snow load of 0.28 kPa, making it suitable for use all year round, even in winter, provided the snow is removed regularly.

Functionality and use

The **GS334017** storage tent has been designed with a variety of uses in mind. Thanks to its dimensions and durability, it is ideal as a storage space on construction sites, where it can be used to store building materials, tools or machinery. It is also ideal for farms, where it can be used to store agricultural equipment, seeds or fodder. In industry, the tent can be used as a temporary storage hall, especially in situations where additional storage space is needed quickly. The erection of such a tent hall takes approximately 3-5 working days depending on the length.

It is worth noting that the 10 m wide storage tent is equipped with a wide 4x4 m lifting door, which allows vehicles to easily enter the tent. These doors are operated by a winch, allowing them to be opened and closed quickly and conveniently. This is an important feature, especially in areas where frequent vehicle movement is required, such as forklifts, agricultural machinery or trucks.

Ease of erection of the tent hall

One of the key advantages of the 10x12 m storage tent **GS334017** is its relatively easy assembly, which can be carried out by oneself with the appropriate safety precautions. Each of the tent's construction elements has been marked with a unique code, which makes it much easier to identify them during assembly and eliminates the risk of errors. According to the enclosed assembly instructions, it is recommended that the tent is assembled on a firm, level ground. For maximum structural stability, it is suggested that concrete foundations are made for the mounting poles.

It should also be remembered that tent assembly should be carried out in favourable weather conditions. Assembly is not recommended during high winds or in waterlogged areas. It is also important that the ground anchors that stabilise the tent are driven in at the correct angle to prevent them being accidentally pulled out during use.

Weatherproofing

The GS334017 pitched roof storage tent is designed for long-term use in harsh weather conditions. The tarpaulin, which forms the covering for the roof and sidewalls, is made of durable PVC material with high resistance to mechanical damage, UV radiation and moisture. As a result, this tent is ideal both in summer, providing protection from the sun and rain, and in winter, providing protection from snow and wind. An important part of maintaining adequate protection is regular maintenance and checking the condition of the tarpaulin, as well as ensuring that it is properly tensioned using the transport straps provided.

It is recommended that in winter, when the temperature drops below 10°C, the tarpaulin should be stored in a room with a higher temperature before installation. Failure to do so may result in damage to the fabric during erection.

Practical tips for use of tent storage

Tent hall GS334017 has been designed with durability and functionality in mind, but in order to use it to its full potential, it is advisable to follow a few rules of use. First and foremost, the owner of the structure should regularly check its anchorage, especially after high winds. The anchorage to the ground is crucial to the stability of the structure, so it is important to check the anchors for looseness at least once a month.

Another important element is to ensure that the tarpaulin is properly tensioned. If the tarpaulin is too loose, so-called "hammocks" "warehouses" can form, which negatively affects the stability of the entire structure. Regular tensioning of the tarpaulin, especially after several months of use, is necessary to ensure adequate protection from rain and wind.

Storing heat sources in direct contact with the tarpaulin should also be avoided, as this can lead to damage. Heating equipment should be at least 2 metres away from the tent structure. In the event of severe storms or hurricanes, it is advisable to remove the roof covering immediately to avoid damage.
