Construction and durability of the tent store

The GS407021 tent has been designed for high durability, especially in harsh weather conditions. Its construction is based on a galvanised steel tube frame, which ensures corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability. The main elements of the frame are **60x1.5 mm** diameter tubes, which provide solid support arches and purlins, allowing the tent to withstand wind loads of up to 80 km/h and snow loads of up to 0.28 kPa.

The exceptional durability of the tent's structure is due to the use of strong steel components, such as the vertical tubes of the sidewalls and the trussed roof elements, which provide additional stability in areas exposed to strong winds and precipitation. All tube connections are secured with repair tape to minimise the risk of damage to the tarpaulin, and additional tensioners ensure that the roof fabric is properly tensioned.

Functionality and use

The 12m wide storage tent is a product that can be used in a wide range of industries, from the storage of building materials, to space for agricultural machinery, to securing industrial goods. Thanks to its spacious dimensions of 12.2m in width, as well as varying lengths from 12m to 64m in length, the tent offers a large usable area that can be adapted to various needs.

The height at the top of the tent is 6.4 m, which allows even large items, machinery to be stored and also provides freedom to manoeuvre vehicles inside the tent. The wide 4x4 m door, operated by a winch, facilitates easy entry and exit, which is particularly useful in busy areas such as construction sites or logistics warehouses.

Assembly and use

Assembly of the GS40 series storage tent is quick and easy thanks to detailed instructions and well-marked components. The assembly process requires only basic tools, such as screw spanners, a spirit level and a ladder. Ground anchors are also included to securely anchor the tent to hard ground. It is important to ensure that the ground is suitably level and stable before erection. If the ground is unstable or loose, it is recommended that 80x80x80 cm concrete foundations are constructed for the mounting poles, which further protects the structure from displacement.

During assembly, it is crucial that the individual elements of the frame and base plates are accurately aligned to ensure parallel alignment and maximum stability of the entire tent. The structure is equipped with steel tension ropes that stabilise the roof and side walls, increasing rigidity and wind resistance.

Tarpaulin and weather resistance

The storage tent is covered with a tarpaulin made of durable PVC material, which is resistant to UV radiation and moisture. The tarpaulin is additionally protected against mechanical damage, which makes the tent ready for use even in difficult weather conditions. The correct tension of the tarpaulin is maintained by means of the transport straps and tensioners that are included in the kit.

One of the most important aspects of using the tent is to regularly check the condition of the tarpaulin and the tension of the fabric. If the tarpaulin is loosely tensioned, especially after heavy snowfall, so-called 'hammocks' can occur, which should be eliminated by re-tensioning the fabric.

In addition, it is advisable to periodically check the attachment of the tent hall to the ground, especially after strong winds, to ensure safety and long-term use.
