Canopy on concrete blocks BC4660 14.92×18.29 m - greater length, greater storage capacity
BC4660 is a canopy based on prefabricated concrete blocks ("lego" type), mounted between two retaining walls. The 60 version (length approx. 18.29 m) with the same wall spacing (14.92 m) provides up to ~50% more usable space than the 12.19 m model - that's approximately 272.9 m² of covered space for year-round operation and storage. The solution is designed for quick installation without traditional foundations, with the demanding conditions of industrial and storage yards in mind.

Applications for the BC4660 15x18m concrete block mounted canopy
The recycling sector is a pillar of the closed-loop economy: this is where secondary raw materials are selected, processed and stored to return to production. A canopy on concrete blocks - such as the BC4660 model mounted between retaining walls - creates a stable working environment for the receiving line, the area under big bags and the buffer under screens and mills. The precipitation protection reduces moisture in the fractions, which reduces the 'water weight' in transport and stabilises the batches in the equipment. At the same time, the wind protection reduces dust and improves health and safety, while the clear prism layout facilitates quality control and material accounting.
Concrete plants and aggregate bases are another industry that uses our products very frequently. Concrete production requires predictable raw material parameters - especially aggregate moisture content. The canopy between the concrete blocks ensures constant storage conditions for the 0-2, 2-8, 8-16 or 16-32 mm fractions, which reduces dosing corrections and stabilises recipes. The covered conveyor belts and hoppers operate more reliably in rain and snow, reducing downtime. An additional benefit is the ability to queue deliveries under the roof: vehicles unload material without contaminating the heaps, and the yard remains more tidy.
A related industry to concrete plants is asphalt and asphalt mix plants, where shielding the production from precipitation is also very important. The production of bituminous mixtures is energy-intensive, so every percentage less moisture in the aggregate makes a difference to drying costs and process stability. The BC4660 canopy, positioned in close proximity to the mixing plant, shortens the routes of the loaders and allows for precise separation of the mineral aggregate and filler heaps. Reduced exposure to rain improves energy efficiency, and an orderly manoeuvring layout reduces overfilling and mixing of fractions, resulting in product repeatability and operational safety.
Mines and mining operations choose the largest canopy models
In mining, traffic continuity and equipment readiness determine the daily result. The canopy on concrete blocks provides an ideal, rapidly deployable space for servicing heavy machinery - process haulers, excavators, loaders or drill rigs. Protection from rain and wind improves service conditions, reduces downtime and increases the safety of servicing operations. Under the roof, areas can be designated for parts, filters and lubricants, as well as inspection stations with curved access. Because the canopy is based on prefabricated blocks, it is easy to relocate as mining operations progress, keeping the service close to the work front and reducing empty equipment runs.
