Shelter on concrete blocks — year-round protection without foundations
The BC4640C shelter (14.92×12.19 m) mounted on concrete blocks is a cost-effective and quick way to create an outdoor, year-round storage area without permanent foundations. The design uses prefabricated “lego”-type concrete blocks as retaining walls, between which a steel roof with a PVC cover is installed. As a result, you gain a solid shelter between concrete blocks that protects goods, vehicles and machinery from rain, snow, wind and UV radiation, while remaining easy to adapt to the layout of your yard.

Why choose a shelter based on concrete blocks?
Mounting on concrete blocks speeds up delivery and reduces costs — the elements are joined dry, without mortar. The lack of traditional foundations means less impact on the ground and the ability to position the shelter in demanding locations (stockyards, equipment bases, production zones). The solution is easy to expand or relocate, maintaining operational continuity and storage flexibility. It is worth noting that both the shelter itself and the complete set with concrete blocks can be resold on the secondary market, which allows you to release capital after the project is completed. This approach is often chosen by construction companies that, for the duration of a contract, need a large covered workspace to assemble oversized elements on site, and resell the shelters after the contract.
Construction and safety
The load-bearing structure is hot-dip galvanized steel, corrosion-resistant. A double truss frame ensures high stiffness and wind stability. The shelter is designed to operate in winds up to 80 km/h. The roof is a 900 g/m² PVC membrane — waterproof, with enhanced fire and UV resistance. A tensioning system limits water pooling and keeps the cover taut throughout the year. This is a proven technology for year-round industrial use.
Quick assembly and flexible configuration
The BC4640 can be assembled in 2–5 days, depending on site conditions. Its modular design lets you connect additional bays and add front walls and drive-through doors. If the site plan changes, the shelter together with the blocks can be moved elsewhere without losing functionality. Compared with masonry buildings, this offers real savings in time and budget. Our technical department has prepared assembly instructions and produced tutorial videos showing the entire installation process. That is why 95% of our clients assemble the products themselves.
Immediate delivery and support
We ship quickly: 2–3 days in Poland and 3–5 days within the European Union. We provide assembly instructions and consultations, and — on request — an experienced crew. Service, spare parts and accessories are available: new roof skins, structural components and closure systems.
